Welcome to Cult Film Mania!
Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway) I LOVE movies. My sons often come by and we frequently watch a movie together. It could be a "blockbuster", or just as likely, it's some smallish film that they may have missed that I think they would like. Yesterday they brought a buddy of theirs who I have also known for years. We had pizza, and watched Bill Murray's "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou"directed by Wes Anderson. Now if you research this film you'll see it was a box office flop (Thats what happens when your film shows at 14 screens nationwide I guess) and "critically panned". Yet we all loved it. Quirky and inexplicable in parts, it was also a wholly original comedy.
Now, my son's friend (I won't give his name here but his initials are "Chris") commented that he always sees cool movies here and suggested he'd like a list. Well, individual lists of films for people seemed a bit work intensive, but why not create JUST WHAT THE INTERNET NEEDS, another website about movies!
I know its not original, but It still may have SOME use, and be a bit of fun as well, so here it is, Cult Film Mania!
